ASPINALL REVEALS PLAYER HE WOULD LEAST LIKE TO FIGHT ON TOUR

NATHAN ASPINALL has told how Boris Krcmar once left a fellow pro threatening to wait a WEEK for his chair to be returned.
The former World Matchplay champion named “Big Bad Boris” as the player he would least like to get into a scrap with on the PDC circuit.
The Asp insists the Croatian is one of the toughest men in the sport and recalled a memorable incident from the Covid-era Players Championship events.
He told the Happy Hour Podcast: “I always say about Boris, I say to him all the time, if I find you in bed with my missus, I’m just tucking you in.
“There’s no way I am starting with him.
“I have a story about him in Covid.
“So, we had a little table with two chairs on each side, and then the eight players that were on board, 16, would all have to be sat in that little area.
“Anyway, Andy Bolton, he’d come back from practising, and his chair had gone.
“But then Boris was sat on the outside of a table, with I think it was Mensur [Suljovic] and [Chris] Dobey.
“So, he’s gone up to him and he goes, ‘Oi, you, is that my chair?’
“And he’s like, ‘Yeah.’
“He went, ‘If it’s not f****** back there by this time next week, I’m coming after you.’
“And he just looks at him, honestly, it’s the funniest thing ever.”
Aspinall also named Karel Sedlacek and William O’Connor among the hardest men on the oche.
He added: “I think f****** Karel Sedlacek.
“Willie O’Connor, I know he’s hard. He did bare knuckle. He’s actually Irish as well.
“There’s Willie O’Connor, Karel, Big bad Boris, as I call him.”
Aspinall revealed who he believes is the best dancer on a night out among the PDC stars.
He said: “You know what, Gezzy [Price], he shifts a few moves.
“He don’t come out very often, but when he comes out, he loves to dance.”
When asked who the most boring player on the PDC circuit is, Aspinall replied: “He’s not boring, but unsociable. Joe Cullen will back me up on this, f****** Dobey.
“He just sits on his phone. You try to have a conversation with him, he’s on his phone.
“He’s obsessed with football. All you can do is talk to him about football. That’s all he knows.
“You can’t talk about real life stuff. He’s not boring, but the ignorance will go for Dobey.”
