BUNTING TO BEGIN NORDIC DARTS MASTERS TITLE DEFENCE AGAINST TINGSTROM

STEPHEN BUNTING will begin the defence of his Nordic Darts Masters crown against Swedish ace Viktor Tingstrom this Friday.

The Bullet returns to Copenhagen as the reigning champion after lifting the title 12 months ago and picking up the £30,000 top prize.

The World Series of Darts resumes in the Danish capital this weekend following earlier events in Bahrain and Riyadh, with eight PDC stars facing eight Nordic and Baltic representatives for a place on Finals Day.

World No1 Luke Littler will also be in action as he faces Norway’s Cor Dekker.

The teen sensation will be hoping to continue his impressive record on the World Series circuit after claiming victory at the Saudi Arabia Darts Masters in January.

Elsewhere, Jonny Clayton renews his rivalry with Andreas Harrysson in a repeat of their round four World Championship meeting at Alexandra Palace last December.

Top seed Michael van Gerwen has been drawn against Oskar Lukasiak, while 2024 Nordic Darts Masters champion Gerwyn Price takes on former World Championship quarter-finalist Darius Labanauskas.

12-time major winner James Wade returns to World Series action against Latvia’s No1 Madars Razma, while Luke Humphries will face Jeffrey de Graaf.

Reigning European Champ Gian van Veen will do battle against Daniel Larsson.

Following Friday’s first round, the World Series of Darts event will conclude on Saturday evening, as the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final take place during a blockbuster evening session in Copenhagen.

The 2026 Nordic Darts Masters will be broadcast live on PDCTV in all territories other than Germany, Austria & Switzerland (coverage via DAZN), Poland (coverage via CANAL+) and on ITV4 and ITVX for UK viewers.

Coverage will begin from 1800 BST on Friday, with Saturday’s final stages also getting underway at the same time at the Forum Copenhagen.
