DARTS ACE RAISES CONCERN OVER LITTLER FORM
25/09/2025 By Aaron Nijjar
VINCENT VAN DER VOORT has raised concern over Luke Littler and says he is far off his best.
‘The Nuke’ competed in back-to-back Euro Tour events at the Czech Open and Hungarian Trophy but failed to lift a title for the first time this year.
World No. 2 Littler also failed to average 100 in any of the five matches he played across both competitions.
Former pro Vincent van der Voort claims the teen sensation is well of his top form at the moment.
He said: “I have to honestly say that he is not playing that great at the moment.
“He is still hard to beat and remains a good player, as his foundation ensures that you never win easily against him.
“But at the moment, the very best is off for a while.”
Pundit Damian Vlottes claims it’s the Dutch stars who have figured out how to defeat Littler.
He added: “It’s the Dutch who have to do it to stop him, though.
“Van Veen won against him in the Czech Republic, Van Gerwen of course wins at the World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam, and now Noppert beats him in Hungary.”
Littler has been in superb form for most of the year picking up seven titles.
Warrington thrower Littler claimed a World Series brace, two Euro Tour crowns and three major trophies in 2025.
The 18-year-old already pocketed £429,500 in prize money this year – a huge gap ahead of James Wade, who sits second on £259,500.
