LITTLER EYES CLEAN SWEEP OF EVERY PDC MAJOR
15/06/2026 By Aaron Nijjar
LUKE LITTLER says he has a “brilliant chance” of winning EVERY single PDC major this season.
The Nuke celebrated England’s World Cup of Darts triumph by knocking back Baby Guinnesses with team-mate Luke Humphries long into the night — despite having an 11.30am flight to catch the next morning!
World No1 Littler has won all Premier events this season after lifting the World Championship, UK Open, World Masters, World Cup and the Premier League.
The teen sensation needs just the World Matchplay, World Series of Darts Finals, World Grand Prix, European Championship, Grand Slam and Players Championship Finals to complete the feat.
Littler said: “Obviously all the talk now is: Am I going to lift every major this year?
“If I keep playing the way I do, then yeah, I’ve got a brilliant chance.
“But this is not only my night, it’s both our nights together and we celebrate together.
“Will I be back next year? 100 percent. There’s no point winning it and not coming back.
“The first game against Spain was just the nail in the coffin for ourselves. We know we can score, finish and win together. We’ll be back next year.”
Humphries hopes his World Cup of Darts glory in Frankfurt can inspire Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions to World Cup success in the United States.
He added: “If it gives (England) 5%, then happy days. I mean they’ve got a great chance.
“England in the men’s World Cup in football, they aren’t the favourites. We were the favourites here. We rightly did our job and picked up the trophy.
“It’d be really, really nice. We have had a lot of messages off people, saying: ‘Oh, we’d love England to do the double.’
“We’ve done our part. We’d love to see them do their part, but it’s going to be tough for them.
“There’s so many great nations in it. It’s going to be tough. We’ll back them all the way and hopefully they can go on and do what we did.”
