LUKE LITTLER has got his wish with a Premier League night in BELGIUM for the first time.
The Professional Darts Corporation has revealed that Antwerp has been added to the 17-week schedule for the 2026 season.
‘The Nuke’ has won three European Tours in Belgium over the past two years and each time admitted he loved playing in Wieze twice and Antwerp.
He won the Flanders Open just a fortnight ago and said: “I love coming here and I’ve said for the past year now, we need a Premier League here. We need to give these guys a league night.”
The Premier League prize pot will increase to a whopping £1.25million next season with a record £350,000 for the winner.
Reigning champion Luke Humphries, who beat Littler in the final at the O2 last May, will kick off his defence in Newcastle on February 5.
Then it goes to Antwerp a week later instead of the traditional venue at Exeter prior to the UK Open in Minehead. It’s the first time Exeter has been axed from the calendar since 2009. The other Euro rounds are in Berlin on March 26 and Rotterdam on April 16.
Once again the final will be held at the prestigious 02 Arena which has seen Littler and Humphries crowned over the past two years.
Full schedule: Newcastle – February 5, Antwerp – February 12, Glasgow – February 19, Belfast – February 26, Cardiff – March 5, Nottingham – March 12, Dublin – March 19, Berlin – March 26, Manchester – April 2, Brighton – April 9, Rotterdam – April 16, Liverpool – April 23, Aberdeen – April 30, Leeds – May 7, Birmingham – May 14, Sheffield – May 21, O2 Arena London – May 28.
