LITTLER STUNS LOCALS WITH SURPRISE PUB VISIT

10/02/2026 By Aaron Nijjar

LUKE LITTLER left locals stunned after dropping into a Lichfield boozer.

‘The Nuke’ paid a visit to a pub called The Feathers and happily mixed with the regulars.

World No.1 Littler posed for selfies with punters and even threw a few darts against some of them.

10-time major winner Littler’s venture came after the venue won a competition run by KP Nuts.

Littler said: “Nights like this are what it’s all about. No-one expected me to walk in and it was a really great night.

“Ever since I’ve worked with KP they’ve had this idea – and this lucky pub has won the competition.

“The atmosphere was unreal – everyone was so welcoming and up for a game.

“KP Nuts have been brilliant at helping bring moments like this to life, and I loved meeting the locals and throwing a few darts with them!”

The Feathers’ bosses Tracey and Mike Kingston told Lichfield Live: “The pub simply erupted when Luke walked through the door.

“We have never seen our regulars look more stunned. The reaction from everyone was amazing.”

After going head-to-head with reigning world champ Littler, local player Andy Matthews said: “I can’t believe we’ve just played against Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler.

“We’re so grateful to KP Nuts and Luke for putting this event on for us. For a little darts team in Lichfield to win this is unbelievable.

“The world champion walking into our local – everyone’s faces were a picture. It’s not something you get to do everyday.”

The Warrington whizkid secured his endorsement deal with KP Nuts in December 2024.

Littler’s partnership was unveiled on the same day as the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards, where he took home the Young SPOTY award.
