LUKE LITTLER wants to be the new Gold Slinger and get his hands on the most valuable darts in the sport.
The teen sensation won his second Premier League night of the season with a 6-4 final win over Nathan Aspinall in Brighton.
But now Littler, 18, is eyeing up the BetMGM £30,000 18-carat gold darts for hitting a perfect leg in the tournament.
Luke Humphries and Rob Cross both got their sets after delivering the first nine-darters of the event in 2025 on Thursday night.
He is clearly hungry for his own golden arrows and said: “On the night you can feel it when it comes. Everything just goes in, the trebles. There’s plenty more weeks to try and get my hands on them darts.
“How heavy are they, I might even use them one night.”
Littler also branded fans “crazy” after saying a pint was thrown on stage just prior to the final.
He added: “I think there was a pint thrown at Nathan as soon as he came up on the stage. Crazy.
“I think we all know some have been good, some have been a bit bad. But that is the darts fans for you: they are either good or they are either bad.”
Littler is now just two points behind Luke Humphries at the top of the table in the race for the O2.
Now he plays in the Belgian Open tonight (Saturday), adding: “I just do what I do. You see it in whoever I play, their heads maybe do drop because I’ve got that two-three leg gap on them and then spurs me on. If they get their head down, then I know I’ve got them.
“It’s just in myself. I want to go and win everything.
“With the run I’m on at the minute, I’m sure I’ll go and pick up the title in Belgium this weekend.
“I’d love to go back-to-back because last year the crowd were absolutely amazing. I said then there should be a Premier League in Belgium. Let’s hope that is the same.”
