Aspinall reveals wild Ibiza stag crossover with Toone and the Lionesses

NATHAN ASPINALL’s wild Ibiza stag took an unexpected twist when he bumped into Ella Toone and a host of Lionesses stars.

The world No16 headed to the party island with fellow darts pals Joe Cullen, Chris Dobey and Ross Smith to celebrate his upcoming wedding to fiancée Kirsty.

But Aspinall, 35, soon found himself sharing flights, drinks and plenty of laughs with Manchester United and England star Toone and several of her team-mates.

Toone had travelled to Ibiza for her hen do before marrying partner Joe Bunney on July 1, with Alessia Russo serving as maid of honour.

The Asp explained the chance encounter began before either group had even boarded the plane.

He told the Daily Star via [247Bet](https://www.247bet.com/en-gb/sports): "It was mental. We turned up on the Thursday at the airport and I had a wedding dress on and she had a Manchester City kit on.

"I've met her before and we kind of walked past each other and I kind of went, 'Hello', she went, 'Nathan', and that was kind of it.

“And then we get through the airport and they're all there and on our way off to Ibiza, so they're on the same flight as us.

"So you imagine at the front you've got all the Lionesses and at the back you've got all the dart players. People in the middle of us must be thinking, 'What f****** plane are we on?!'

"Whether they got the tickets off the same person I did, I don't know!”

The two groups later reunited at Wayne Lineker's Ocean Beach during their getaway.

He added: “It was class and when we landed we had a chat and found out they were at O Beach the same day as us and you know, the stars aligned, they were on the beds next to us.

"Whether they got the tickets off the same person I did, I don't know!

“We spent a couple of hours with them in the afternoon and they were all fantastic. Mary Earps, I met Mary, what a lovely woman she was, Russo was there too. There were a few of them.

“Just great fun and we enjoyed their company as much as they enjoyed ours. It was crazy, but they enjoyed their weekend, probably not as much as we did!”
