Paton picks Littler to save her life with darts throw

EMMA PATON says Luke Littler is the darts star she would trust to save her life with a throw on the oche.

Paton, 31, has established herself as the leading broadcaster on the oche since replacing Laura Woods on Sky Sports in 2022.

14-time major winner Littler is already the THIRD most successful player in the history of the game at just 19 and has become the first £3million man.

The Nuke is bidding to make history by becoming the first pro to win all 11 televised PDC Premier events after claiming the opening six.

Glam Em took part in a Q&A where she was quizzed on several of the sport’s biggest names.

Asked which player she would want taking the throw to save her life, Paton immediately picked Littler.

She told She’s Got Game: “Littler, it’s got to be.”

On who she thinks would make the best presenter, she replied: “Probably Luke Humphries just because he is the most sensible.”

Paton then named her contenders for the best walk-on: “Nathan Aspinall is up there, Mr Brightside. Michael van Gerwen’s a good one. Willie O’Connor, there are a few.”

The Sky Sports host revealed the athlete who left her most starstruck during her career.

She continued: “David Beckham, who walked into Sky once when I was 23 or something. I didn’t ask for a picture because I thought that was so unprofessional.

“Now I’m like, why did you do that? He is like my idol.”

Paton is now an ambassador for darts manufacturer Winmau and even has her own set of arrows on sale across the country.

She will return to our screens on September 28 when the World Grand Prix gets underway in Leicester.
