Jurjen van der Velde explains warning he got from tournament director during World Championship clash after spraying bug spray on stage

Jurjen van der Velde was reprimanded by PDC tournament director Graham Fairhurst during the first break of his World Championship clash with Danny Noppert.

"After the first set everyone has his own chair to get a bit of rest in the five minutes break and Graham [tournament director] was knocking on my door and told me some people are allergic.

"I thought at the moment I was full with adrenaline and things like that so I thought, 'how can you say this in the first break? Say it after the game'.

"I thought maybe that was not his best idea but maybe it was not a good idea for me to spray it and just to show the bottle."
