LITTLER’S BIGGEST KRYPTONITE REVEALED

LUKE LITTLER’S biggest kryptonite at the oche is BOOS from hostile crowds, according to ex-pro Matt Edgar.
‘The Nuke’ currently sits seventh in the Premier League table after winning just one game in his opening four nights.
World No.1 Littler was dispatched 6-3 by Jonny Clayton last week in Belfast and appeared to struggle as sections of the arena jeered.
Edgar believes the teenage sensation is still adjusting to not always being a fan favourite but insists he fully expects him to muscle his way into Finals Night.
He told OLBG: “I saw people jumping at this a little too early in regards to saying Luke does not look as motivated.
“However, it has to be a talking point that we are four weeks into it and he has won one game.
“Look at the evidence with Luke Littler. He doesn’t go to Germany and because of that he won’t play on the European Tour.
“He hasn’t been successful in places where that has happened. We look at Luke Littler and go, how perfect and unstoppable he is.
“But have we potentially seen his bit of kryptonite here at this moment in his career — not able to deal with that interaction, potentially?
“I don’t see a world where he is not in the top four. The story might be different in how we get there.
“We have already gone slightly different to how we expected it to go for him. Whatever road he goes down, I think all roads lead for him to the O2.”
Ten-time major winner Littler played just ONE Euro Tour event in Germany last year — the German Darts Grand Prix — where he reached the semi-finals.
He has also never lifted the European Championship in Dortmund, failing to progress beyond the second round on two occasions.
The Warrington whizkid struggled to deal with whistles from spectators in Frankfurt when England were dumped out of the World Cup by Germany.
