LUKE HUMPHRIES has stepped in to support a young fan who has endured years of bullying.

World No. 1 Humphries revealed he plans to speak with the PDC in an effort to arrange VIP tickets and a meet-and-greet with players in Manchester for 14-year-old Alex McGarrie.

Alex, an avid darts fan from Stockport, has faced two years of torment at Hazel Grove High School in Stockport, where his parents say bullies have targeted him because of his autism.

When Humphries learned of Alex’s story, he took to X to offer a heartwarming gesture.

He said: “I will speak to the PDC this week when in Cardiff and see if we can get him some tickets and a chance to meet all the players in Manchester if that suits? No one likes a bully, hope he’s ok and send him my best wishes.”

‘Cool Hand’ returns to action this Thursday in the Premier League at Cardiff when he faces Michael van Gerwen.

The Cheshire thrower is currently second in the Premier League and trails Luke Littler who is top by one point.

Humphries, Littler and Gerwyn Price have all recorded two nightly wins in the tournament.

Seven-time Major winner Humphries has already picked up his first ranked televised title this year after he won the World Masters.
