GREAVES WAS ANNOYED WHEN WOMEN’S SERIES STREAK ENDED

23/03/2026 By Aaron Nijjar

BEAU GREAVES admits she was “annoyed” as her 114-match unbeaten streak on the PDC Women’s Series ended.

‘Beau ‘n’ Arrow’ had not tasted defeat on the circuit since April 2025, winning a staggering 17 consecutive titles.

But her run was halted in Event Five as she suffered a 4-1 defeat to Fallon Sherrock, who produced a stunning 102.12 average.

Greaves insisted she did not feel as though a burden had been lifted from her shoulders after her flawless record came to an end.

She said: “I knew at some point I was most likely going to lose. To be fair, Fallon was unbelievable, so I can’t even say I didn’t play well. I played really good. She was just magic.

“No, because Laura Turner asked me the other day and I was like, I am annoyed! I was annoyed.

“To be fair, I should have lost 4-0 to Fallon. I was lucky to get a leg and she averaged 102, I was like fair enough.

“It was one of those games where I thought I can’t do anything about it, just move on.”

The three-time women’s world champion quickly bounced back from the loss, going on to win events six, seven and eight across the weekend.

Greaves, who also became the first woman to hit a nine-dart finish on the PDC ProTour, opened up on the mental challenges she has faced since earning her Tour Card.

She added: “I’ve had my struggles on stream. I think when I started my Tour Card, it just hit me a little bit differently.

“Nothing will ever get me down. I am too strong mentally for anybody or anything to affect my darts.

“I have struggled for what feels a long time, but I am used to it and it is not a worry.

“I think the most important thing for me is that I am enjoying it. It’s my job now and I am keeping important people around me to keep me in the right mindframe.

“With mental struggles, I have been there and done it. I know what it is and I won’t let it bother me now.

“It would be really nice to do well with my Tour Card. I am just trying to get a bit more consistent, I have just been a bit poor on tour.

“I am just trying to play at a consistent level and I have not done that yet.”
