HOOD LEFT IN STITCHES BY WIFE’S CHAIR COLLAPSE!

JUSTIN HOOD was left in stitches after his wife’s chair collapsed beneath her while they worked at a hotel.
‘Happy Feet’ lifted the lid on his previous job as a hotel porter, prior to becoming a full-time darts professional.
World No.53 Hood says most of the time was spent passing the hours rather than dealing with chaos.
Hood revealed he never saw any naked streakers during his time in the role but did witness one unforgettable moment caught on CCTV.
He told talkSPORT: “I have a video on my phone of my missus sitting on a chair and it broke. We have the CCTV footage on there because she worked there as well.
“She sat on the chair and it broke and she fell off and it was really funny.
“The streets were quite quiet to be fair. I heard stories of before I worked there of people doing that in the corridors.
“But I didn’t see anything unfortunately. I would have loved to get involved with it.
“It was alright, it was very quiet like 90 percent of the time so we just sat there and watched Netflix or practised.
“So, it was quite good. But now I can do that anyway during the day. We were doing the night shift so it was 11:00pm till 7am.
“So, we’d probably see two people all night and just got the dartboard up.”
Hood also plans to open his Chinese takeaway later this year and joked he will claw back prize money from rivals who beat him.
He added: “No idea on the name. I’m hoping we are looking at the end of this year or the start of next year because it has been so busy since the Worlds.
“I don’t know why I love it, I just do because it makes me happy when I eat it. I think it is going to be a takeaway to start with.
“But I want to get a little van, take it to the ProTours so when they beat me they can spend that prize money outside.
“I’ll get it back somehow!”
