JENKINS STRIKES GOLD AS ANTIQUES DEALER

04/02/2026 By Aaron Nijjar

TERRY JENKINS revealed he bought a fellow oche star a China FLAMINGO that turned out to be worth hundreds.

Former world No.4 Jenkins reached nine PDC major finals before retiring in 2018.

‘The Bull’ is now working as an antiques dealer and says his eye for value has already paid off.

Jenkins explained that while not every purchase turns a profit, he has managed to uncover some remarkable finds.

He told Modus Super Series Darts: “There is a few things really, we have had some good buys and things we’re we didn’t make much on.

“I bought a lamp once for £25 and we put it into auction and it made something like £2,200.

“There is a few items that we have done well on.”

Jenkins has a habit of picking up unusual bargains and giving them to other professional darts players.

He added: “I got a tractor seat once for Paul Nicholson, with his name on it, Nicholson.

“I bought that for him. I get the odd little bits now and again for people.

Peter Manley, I bought a nice China Flamingo, which was quite a good one.

“I told him that as well. It cost me about a tenner in a car boot sale, but it was worth about £400.

“But I gave it to him and he didn’t believe me. He googled it and then found out it was worth quite a lot of money.

“It was a nicer one, I think.”

The Herefordshire thrower walked away from the sport because the constant travel and long hours on his own had become too much.

He continued: “I was travelling around on my own all the time and it is no fun being in an airport sat there on your own for hours on end.

“In the end, we were going to Barnsley and Wigan every weekend, and I just got bored of it, I think.

“I thought I need to pack it in and go back to doing my wheely dealing.”
