LITTLER REVEALS PRICE TO JOIN I’M A CELEBRITY JUNGLE

LUKE LITTLER has lifted the lid on the eye-watering sum it would take to tempt him into the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
Warrington thrower Littler has rocketed from an unknown rookie to global sensation in just two years, becoming world champion and one of the most in-demand stars in sport.
The 18-year-old became the youngest world No1 in history this year — and has already racked up NINE major titles, the fourth-most of any player ever, trailing only James Wade, Michael van Gerwen and the legendary Phil Taylor.
And while TV chiefs and sponsors have no doubt been queueing up for a piece of ‘The Nuke’, he insists it would take a monster payout to follow pal Angry Ginge into the Aussie outback.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Littler said: “I said I’d go in for it if the money’s right.
“But after watching all these challenges, I actually couldn’t go in. Physically couldn’t go in.”
When hosts suggested he might pocket £10million, Littler laughed it off, replying: “Nah.”
But when the offer was bumped up to £50m, the teen phenomenon paused before admitting: “Maybe.”
Littler then joked: “You never know, I might be flying over… No I’m not.”
Reigning world champ Littler kicks off his title defence against Darius Labanauskas on December 11 at Ally Pally.
He’s bidding to become the first man since Gary Anderson in 2016 to successfully keep hold of the Sid Waddell Trophy.
