PARTINGTON TO FRONT DARTS COVERAGE ON ITV

09/01/2026 By Aaron Nijjar

GABBIE PARTINGTON has been unveiled as ITV’s new on-screen face of professional darts.

According to The Sun, Partington will lead the channel’s coverage on terrestrial TV, beginning with next week’s Bahrain Darts Masters, followed by the Saudi Arabia Darts Masters.

The 32-year-old will host the opening two World Series of Darts events of 2026 alongside former BDO World Champ Mark Webster, with world No1 Luke Littler set to make his first appearances since retaining the Sid Waddell Trophy.

The Winmau World Masters, will be held in Milton Keynes from January 29 to February 1, but Partington is not expected to front the coverage.

Partington is a popular and approachable figure on the TV circuit and within the PDC ranks, having been involved in the sport for several years.

Her professional background is largely rooted in golf, having fronted coverage of the Ladies European Tour’s Aramco Team Series across the Middle East.

In the world of darts, she is a regular presence at Alexandra Palace, where she has taken on the challenge of firing up a 3,300-capacity arena during TV intervals, in addition to conducting fan interviews in the Great Hall.

Her 2025 schedule saw her travel further afield, describing a “cracking couple of weeks” working at Madison Square Garden in New York and in Gliwice, Poland, while also stepping into a new role as a presenter across two World Series of Darts events.

She has also taken on a number of high-profile roles, including stepping in as Master of Ceremonies for the World Snooker Tour, a position she first held at the 2024 Unibet British Open at Cheltenham Racecourse.

As a freelancer, she has built her career from the ground up, providing live darts coverage on talkSPORT radio and delivering regular updates from Masters golf events.

Over the past year, ITV has implemented a significant overhaul of its on-screen lineup, with production of its darts coverage now moving under the Matchroom Media banner.

Highly regarded broadcaster Jacqui Oatley stepped away from her hosting duties after the Players Championship Finals at Butlin’s Minehead in November.

Oatley had been a fixture at ITV for more than a decade, fronting coverage of major football tournaments including Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup, alongside some of the sport’s biggest moments in darts.
