PRICE REVEALS RIVAL WALK-ON SONG HE WOULD STEAL

GERWYN PRICE has admitted he would steal Nathan Aspinall’s walk-on music if he could.
Former world champion Price’s pre-match entrance is accompanied by Vanilla Ice’s ‘Ice Ice Baby’.
But ‘The Iceman’ believes Aspinall’s track “gets the hype” from the crowd.
World No. 6 Aspinall makes his entrance to ‘Mr Brightside’ by The Killers and fans regularly sing along as he makes his way to the oche.
Seven-times major winner Price told talkSPORT: “I think it would probably be Nathan’s. I like that.
“I think it’s the only one that gets the hype and gets the crowd going.
“Maybe it’s getting a little bit boring now as well, but at the beginning it was quite good.”
However, Price remains a fan of the song and added: “No, I actually love it.”
Markham thrower Price revealed he enjoys another player’s walk-on song — much to the annoyance of his wife.
He said: “I’m actually walking around the house singing Luke Littler’s song as well.
“Like ‘I’m ready to go!’ My Mrs is like ‘oh my god, shut up.’”
Luke Littler has Pitbull’s ‘Greenlight’ for his walk-on music.
Warrington whizkid Littler defeated Price on finals night in this year’s Premier League.
Their semi-final clash at the O2 Arena in London saw the teen sensation advance after winning 10-7.
Not all stars have had a smooth ride when it comes to their walk-on music — just ask Luke Humphries.
‘Cool Hand’ recently revealed he didn’t even choose his old track — DNCE’s Cake by the Ocean.
He joked: “Sky Sports. They did me right up there didn’t they? Mugged me right off.
“But I think I’ve chosen a better one now and it’s definitely better than what it was before.”
World No. 1 Humphries now enters the arena to ‘I Predict a Riot’ by Leeds legends Kaiser Chiefs.
