ROCK TARGETS WILLIAMS IN SCRAP

JOSH ROCK says he’d “beat the beard off” Scott Williams in a scrap!
Premier League stars swapped the oche for the hot seat as they grilled each other in a no-holds-barred Q&A session.
‘Rocky’ was asked by Luke Littler which player on the PDC tour he would most like to fight.
He laughingly said: “Scott Williams. Beat the beard off him.”
The Antrim thrower followed up with a football-themed dilemma for Luke Humphries – grow his hair until Leeds United win five games in a row or support Manchester United for ten years.
Humphries replied: “That is the easiest question in the world. Grow my hair until Leeds win five games.
“We’ve come close this year to be fair, a couple of draws have cost us.”
Eight-time major winner Humphries then asked Gian van Veen what food he would swap his darts for.
Van Veen revealed: “I would go for a baguette. I think it’s round and it lays really good in your hand. And you can throw it towards the board really nicely.”
World No.3 Van Veen then questioned Gerwyn Price on which Premier League star – aside from himself and Jonny Clayton – would make a good rugby player.
Former world champ Price said: “I’d probably say Josh Rock. Probably a centre or a winger. I think he’d stick it out well.”
Jonny Clayton rounded off the session by asking Michael van Gerwen which non-professional he would play a game of darts.
The 48-time major winner’s answer struck a more emotional tone. He said: “I would say my son, but I don’t wish him to be a darts player.
“People underestimate the life of a darts player. With how many times I’ve been away, I don’t wish him the same for his kids.”
