NATHAN ASPINALL revealed he nearly moved house due to his phobia of SPIDERS.
The Asp admitted he is “absolutely petrified” of creepy crawlies and could not cope after finding loads in his old place.
World No14 Aspinall confessed cockroaches are another major fear and insisted he cannot deal with any type of insect.
He told the Happy Hour Podcast: “Petrified of spiders. Absolutely petrified of spiders.
“Me and my eldest [child] are a nightmare.
“We had loads of spiders once in my old house and I’m like, we’ve got to sell up. I can’t cope with this.
“Petrified of spiders and creepy crawlies, cockroaches.”
But the two-time major winner refused to completely rule out a future appearance on hit ITV series I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.
He said: “There is not enough money in this world to get me on that show.”
But when podcast host JaackMaate responded with: “Ten million,” Aspinall jokingly replied: “Probably.”
Aspinall also revealed fellow darts star Chris Dobey has his own ROOM at his house.
The pair regularly travel together to tournaments and Aspinall explained Dobey often stays over before flights from Manchester Airport.
He added: “Dobey spends a lot of time at my house. He’s actually got his own room because obviously we’re good mates, me and Chris, and he flies a lot from Manchester.
“So he’ll stay at mine the night before in his room and then we’ll go to the airport together.
“It’s Dobey’s room.”
But Aspinall joked he still refuses to let his close pal turn the spare room into a full-blown Newcastle United F.C. shrine.
He continued: “Well, not quite that. Well, if he had it his way, he’d have full bedding, yeah, curtains, the lot, lampshade, anything.
“But yeah, obviously it’s a spare room, but for a joke, I keep saying I’m going to get him a sign.”
