GIAN VAN VEEN has shown off a stunning new Audi Q8 after a career-best year on the oche.
The Giant recently shared images on Instagram of the luxury motor, quickly catching the attention of fans and fellow darters.
The world No3 won the European Championship title and also reached the final of the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship which brought a sizeable financial reward of £630,000.
Van Veen reportedly invested part of his prize money into a new home, where he now lives with his girlfriend.
But the Dutchman has also reportedly splashed out on a luxury new vehicle.
Former pro Vincent van der Voort was left stunned by the reported cost of his younger compatriot’s lavish purchase.
He told the Darts Draait Door Podcast: “Wow, what a car, huh, gosh. You see those prices online for that car… I hope he didn’t actually pay that much.”
Presenter Damian Vlottes then responded with the figure directly: “€375,000.”
Van der Voort replied: “I read that too, yes. I’m curious, because that really is a price, isn’t it?
“I’m not jealous, I’ve never really had that with those kinds of things.
“I’ve always had super nice cars and I’m now driving a nice one from the sponsor. But I don’t feel I need to drive a car like that too.
“Usually after a few months it’s just a car.”
Van Veen returns to action this evening at the Nordic Darts Masters, where he will face Sweden’s Daniel Larsson in round one.
The 24-year-old has made a steady start to the campaign, reaching the final of the Poland Darts Open and the semi-final of the World Masters.
Van Veen finished seventh in his debut Premier League season, reaching four nightly finals, although his campaign was disrupted after undergoing an operation for kidney stones.
