FURIOUS Mike De Decker slammed the Ally Pally crowd after his disastrous exit to David Munyua.

The Belgian star was furious at the behaviour of the fans inside the London venue after being stunned by the Kenyan.

De Decker was an overwhelming 1/66 shot to cruise into the second round of the World Championship and appeared in total control as he took the opening two sets.

However, Munyua had missed darts to win that second set and that warning became a serious reality when the African roared back in staggering style.

As the Kenyan mounted his fightback, the Ally Pally crowd started really getting behind him and singing his name.

At the same time, the tension was ramped onto De Decker and they also booed him when he was trying to hit key shots.

The Belgian missed three match darts to win the game at one point and was also barracked at critical moments during the closing stages of the contest.

De Decker was visibly angered by the behaviour and shook his head in their direction after one wasted visit.

which they cheered loudly to deepen his angst.

After the match was concluded and he crashed out of the tournament, the defeated former Grand Prix champion took to Instagram have a pop.

De Decker wrote: “Well done, David. But the crowd? Wow…Booing and whistling shouldn’t be normal or encouraged. You’re the first to complain when it happens to British players in Europe, but you do exactly the same when the tournament is in the UK.”

Munyua was joyous after his win and the punters kept chanting his name as he did his on-stage interview, where he said: “This is amazing. I didn’t expect it. I am happy about it. This is a very big moment for the sport itself, for Africa, for the Kenyans.

“If I can do it, they can believe they can do it. The sport can grow. I am happy I did my best and the outcome is quite good. At 2-0 down, to be honest I was doing my best.

“We have a very good terminology in my local area which says there is no big difference if you know how it is done. Go there and do it. I like the outcome. I am happy about the outcomes.

“There was a moment of miscounts. I am pleased it didn’t affect me. I miscounted. I came back and still got the momentum, I focused and concentrated. I am happy. Thank you so much. Why not?”

De Decker’s exit completed an awful first-round set for his country with all five Belgians now out of the tournament.

Andy Baetens, Mario Vandenbogaerde, Dimitri van den Bergh and Kim Huybrechts have all also perished at the first hurdle in a nightmare tournament.
