BEAU GREAVES made history by winning two of the first five Challenge Tour events of this year’s darts calendar season
The 21-year-old claimed her first title last Friday by defeating Switzerland’s Stefan Bellmont 5-4 in a thrilling final, becoming only the second woman ever to win a Challenge Tour event.
Women’s world number 1 Greaves showcased her talent by averaging over 90 in every game she played during the first event.
‘Beau n Arrow’ continued her dominance the following day in Milton Keynes when she secured her second event victory.
She defeated John O’Shea 5-2 in the quarter-finals, overcame Jimmy van Schie 5-1 in the semi-finals, and cruised past World Seniors Champion John Henderson in the final, where she averaged over a ton against the Scotsman to complete a stunning double success.
Greaves across the five events, recorded two ton-plus averages, a rolling average of 92.70 and an impressive first-nine dart average of 102.56. The darts ace won 67% of the legs she played, maintained a 90+ average in 22 of her 25 matches and hit an astonishing 56 180s throughout the competition.
As a result of her success, Greaves now leads the tour order of merit having earned £5,150. The top two players in the rankings at the end of the season will earn a spot in the World Darts Championship and a Tour Card for 2026 and 2027.
Additionally, the highest-ranked players can compete as reserves in PDC Pro Tour’s Players Championship tournaments this year if a Tour Card holder withdraws or fails to register.
Bellmont is currently ranked second. Following his title victory at the weekend, he has accumulated £4,100. Carl Sneyd sits in third with £2,575 after securing his maiden title, narrowly ahead of Darius Labanauskas on £2,500.
Mervyn King and John Henderson are both within the top 10, while Simon Whitlock is just outside, ranked 14th.
