LITTLER REVEALS GAMEPLAN WITH HUMPHRIES AHEAD OF WORLD CUP

01/06/2026 By Aaron Nijjar

LUKE LITTLER has revealed the gameplan he hopes will fire England to World Cup glory.
The Nuke teams up with Luke Humphries in Frankfurt between June 11-14, with the pair heading into the tournament as overwhelming favourites.
World No.1 Littler and Humphries were shockingly knocked out in the second round last year by Germany.
But Littler disclosed he has spoken with Cool Hand Luke about how best to approach the team event.
He said: “When we go to the World Cup, I’ll let Luke finish and I’ll just do all the scoring.
“It is whatever happens on the day, especially at the World Cup.
“Last year, it wasn’t the easiest draw for me and Luke. We were huge favourites going into it.
“I am sure we will bounce back.”
The teen sensation needs just the World Cup and European Championship to complete a clean sweep of PDC premier events.
Littler is also eyeing another record as he targets becoming the first player to win all individual major titles in a single season.
The Warrington ace has already triumphed at the World Championship, World Masters, UK Open and Premier League.
However, Littler would need to play ProTour floor events to be eligible for the Players Championship Finals after withdrawing from the first 18 events this campaign.
Only the top 64 on the ProTour Order of Merit will qualify for the main draw in Minehead.
He added: “Obviously I’ve won every one so far.
“If me and Luke do pick up the World Cup and if I do pick up the Europeans, then yeah I might have to go to Minehead to try and win them all. But we’ll have to see.”
