PREMIER LEAGUE darts stars were asked who they believed was the worst dressed player away from the oche and Ryan Joyce won the majority receiving two votes out of five.
Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey both voted for the Newcastle thrower.
The ‘Bullet’ playfully said with a smile to Sky Sports: “I’d have to say Ryan Joyce. Some of the clobber that he wears is pretty horrendous to be honest!. You wouldn’t find me in it, but if that’s what he’s used to then happy days.”
Despite the fashion critique, Joyce endured a successful 2024, reaching the quarter-finals of two Majors in the same year for the first time in his career.
Nathan Aspinall chose his fellow competitor Dobey. ‘The Asp’ laughingly admitted: “The worst dressed Dobey. He still wears full football kits at 34!”
World No.1 Luke Humphries voted for two-time Major winner Daryl Gurney. ‘Cool Hand’ grinned and said: “I’m sorry but Daryl Gurney. Just because he does like his trackies and his shorts that don’t suit his shoes. So sorry Daryl, I do apologise for that but it’s you.”
Humphries has been in great form having recently won the Winmau World Masters and was victorious in winning night one of the Premier League.
The former World Champion Gerwyn Price went in favour of his Welsh compatriot Jonny Clayton.
