FALLON SHERROCK admitted she had “never been so nervous” after picking up her MBE from the Prince of Wales.

The Queen of the Palace got her gong at Windsor Castle in recognition of her achievements in darts.

Sherrock, 29, made history by becoming the first female to win a match at the PDC World Darts Championship in 2019.

She also reached the last eight of the Grand Slam of Darts in 2021 before winning the inaugural Women’s World Matchplay in 2022.

Sherrock also became the first woman to throw a nine-dart finish at a PDC event on the Challenge Tour.

That success on the oche has helped her become a household name, appearing on several TV shows as a celebrity guest.

Sherrock joins illustrious company in former world champions Eric Bristow and John Lowe and fellow female star Trina Gulliver as darts stars to be awarded the MBE.

On her X account, Sherrock said of meeting Prince William: “So proud today, for myself and DARTS… to meet the Prince of Wales and to receive the MBE from him.

“Never been so nervous. Thank you to everyone who has helped me get where I am. Very very happy.”

Sherrock created worldwide headlines after beating Ted Evetts at the Ally Pally in late 2019 before then also taking victory over Mensur Suljovic.
