WILLIAMS LEFT SORE AFTER CURLING

SCOTT WILLIAMS admits his “PENIS HURTS” after a disastrous first attempt at curling in Zurich.
‘Shaggy’ is in Switzerland for an exhibition alongside Ricky Evans and Stefan Bellmont ahead of next week’s Players Championship events.
World No.44 Williams decided to try his hand at the Winter Olympic sport and immediately regretted it.
Williams was left sore after his first outing on the ice and has since urged fans to steer well clear of the game.
He said on TikTok: “I’m in Zurich doing an exhibition with Ricky Evans and Stefan Bellmont before the Players Championship events next week.
“We’re over here — it’s an absolutely delightful venue with delightful players.
“But yesterday I experienced curling for the first time. Not hair curling, obviously — my hair is not long enough for that.
“But curling that is going on in the Winter Olympics right now. As a large human being — a six-foot-four, without-the-heels-on human being —do not do it.
“Do not curl. Do not do curling. Do not get stones. Don’t even think about it because it is the most ridiculous sport.
“It’s the most painful sport I have ever experienced in my life and I don’t wish it upon anyone.
“My legs hurt, my neck hurts, my penis hurts — that’s probably because I caught it in the zipper.
“But that’s a different story. Don’t curl.”
Williams enjoyed an impressive ProTour campaign last year, reaching three semi-finals and going all the way to the final at Players Championship 19.
The Lincolnshire thrower was unable to translate that momentum onto the Alexandra Palace stage, suffering a narrow 3-2 defeat to Jermaine Wattimena in the second round of the World Championship.
