BEAU GREAVES dominated the Women’s Series by claiming back-to-back titles in events three and four in Leicester on Sunday, and winning a record breaking 30th title.

‘Beau n Arrow’ claimed her first event in style, dropping just four legs on her way to victory. She produced the first ton-plus average of the day with a dominant 4-0 whitewash over Steph Clarke and avenged her earlier defeat in event two to Fallon Sherrock in the quarter-finals.

The 21-year-old then fired in a majestic 164 checkout in the opening leg of the final against Robyn Byrne before sealing a 5-1 win.

Women’s World No.1 Greaves then doubled her tally by beating Gemma Hayter in the event four final.  Greaves averaged 89.77 and Hayter an impressive 92.93 in a thrilling match.

Hayter held her throw well early on as she hit a 110 checkout and produced a 13-darter to take a 4-3 lead, putting her one leg away from victory. However, Greaves forced a deciding leg and sealed the win with a brilliant 14-darter.

The Doncaster darter revealed she is now aiming to work her way up the PDC system following her glorious start to the year. She said: “I am really enjoying the game at the minute, and that’s a big part of my game.

“I am trying to push myself this year. I played at Q School, I’ve had some good wins on the Challenge Tour and I have played my first ProTour now.

“I am trying to work my way up the PDC system and it’s going well. Obviously I’m not always going to play well, I am going to have bad games, and I know that.

“You have a target on your back, but I quite enjoy that side of the game, and I am just focused on enjoying every game that I play.”

Sherrock claimed her 19th Women’s Series title after defeating Greaves in the final, as the 2025 campaign began with a double-header in Leicester on Saturday.

Greaves had dominated their recent encounters, winning the last seven meetings between the two biggest names on the women’s tour, but ‘the Queen of the Palace’ held off a mid-match comeback to secure a 5-3 victory in Event Two.

Three-time Lakeside champion Greaves who won twice on the Challenge Tour last month, had dropped just two legs on her way to the final but fell short in her bid for more silverware.

Sherrock reflected on her victory, saying: “Unfortunately for Beau, she didn’t play how she could, and fortunately for me I just got over the line.

“I’m very happy with this win today, because I’m just trying to find some confidence and form at the moment.

“There has been glimpses of it and times where it’s not been there. I’ll happily take the win today.”

Lisa Ashton claimed her 18th Women’s Series title with a 5-3 victory over Hayter in the Event One final. However, Sherrock moved back ahead by securing her 19th title in Event Two, edging out Ashton 5-4 in the semi-finals before going on to lift the trophy.

Lorraine Winstanley secured narrow final-leg victories over Sherrock and Greaves in the early rounds of Event One before falling to Hayter in the semi-finals.

Greaves now boasts a £2,300 lead at the top of the Women’s Series Order of Merit following Event Four, with Ashton and Sherrock making up the top three, ahead of Hayter in fourth spot.

The top two players from the final PDC Women’s Series Order of Merit will qualify to compete in the 2025/26 World Championship, alongside the winner of the 2025 Women’s World Matchplay.
