LITTLER IN SHOCK AFTER EMERGENCY DENTAL TRIP AHEAD OF FLANDERS TROPHY

LUKE LITTLER has admitted he doesn’t know how he’ll perform at the Flanders Trophy this weekend after an emergency trip to the dentist.
World No. 2 Littler was left “in shock and shaken” on Thursday after having a tooth yanked out in Manchester following hours of agony.
Despite the ordeal, ‘The Nuke’ will still fly to Belgium on Friday to chase a FOURTH European Tour crown in Antwerp.
Six-times major winner Littler faces the winner of Dylan Slevin or Francois Schweyen on Saturday in the evening session.
Littler wrote on Instagram: “In pain for hours and hours, so had to get tooth out. Luckily they were able to do it and sort me out but hopefully it’s all good for Saturday.
“Everyone knows I love Belgium and hopefully I can play my best darts.”
Teen sensation Littler also had a warning for anyone spotting him on his travels – don’t expect him to be chatty.
He added: “I don’t know how I’m going to be feeling in the morning, whether I’ll be in a little bit of pain, but if you see me in the airport I’m just gonna have my AirPods in and be doing my own thing.
“So don’t be saying I’m arrogant because I’m not. I’ve never had this done and right now I’m in shock and shaken as I didn’t know what to expect.”
