WORLD CUP OF DARTS 2026 FULL DRAW CONFIRMED
03/06/2026 By Aaron Nijjar
ENGLAND will launch their bid for a SIXTH World Cup of Darts crown when the tournament gets underway in Frankfurt next week.
The four-day spectacle takes place at the Eissporthalle from June 11-14, with 40 nations battling it out for the prestigious title in the PDC’s unique pairs event.
World No.1 Luke Littler will team up with former world champion Luke Humphries as the top-seeded pairing look to make amends for their shock second-round exit to Germany last year.
Jonny Clayton will spearhead the Welsh challenge alongside World Cup debutant Nick Kenny, with the two-time champions drawn in Group C against Lithuania and Thailand.
Hosts Germany are among the headline acts on opening night as Martin Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko look to build on last year’s semi-final run. They face the Philippines and New Zealand in Group G.
Former champions Australia, represented by Damon Heta and debutant Adam Leek, have been handed a tough Group A assignment alongside North American rivals USA and Canada.
Belgium’s star pairing of Mike De Decker and Dimitri Van den Bergh headline Group B, where they will face Hong Kong and returning Slovenia.
Republic of Ireland, runners-up in 2019, begin life under a new partnership as William O’Connor teams up with Mickey Mansell. They take on Singapore and World Cup newcomers Uganda in Group D.
Poland, led by Krzysztof Ratajski and Sebastian Bialecki, face Portugal and Switzerland in Group E, while Sweden meet South Africa and debutants Mongolia in Group F.
Elsewhere, Czechia, India and Denmark clash in Group H, while two-time runners-up Austria – captained by ever-present Mensur Suljovic – take on China and France in Group I.
Group J features Latvia, Italy and tournament newcomers Trinidad and Tobago, while Croatia face a stern test against former semi-finalists Japan and Spain in Group K.
Finland complete the line-up in Group L alongside Norway and Hungary.
The 36 unseeded nations have been split into 12 groups of three, with only the group winners progressing to the knockout stage.
Waiting in the last 16 are the tournament’s top four seeds: England, Netherlands, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
The Netherlands will field a new-look partnership of Michael van Gerwen and Gian van Veen, while reigning champions Northern Ireland are represented by Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney.
Scotland’s hopes rest with Gary Anderson and World Cup debutant Cameron Menzies as they chase a third title.
Following the conclusion of the group stage on Friday evening, the draw for the last 16 will be made, with the seeded nations entering the competition on Saturday.
The quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will all take place on a blockbuster Finals Day in Frankfurt on Sunday, June 14.
The 2026 BetVictor World Cup of Darts will be broadcast on Sky Sports for viewers in the UK & Ireland, through the PDC’s international broadcast partners, including DAZN, Viaplay and VTM, and on PDCTV for Rest of the World Subscribers.
